Can people name good Vince Russo storylines in his post-WWE career?

A lawt of people on the intahneht don't like it, but bro, the David Awwrkeht thing was big bro. We, a WRESTLING company, made the front page of USA TAHDAY! Bro, with god as my witness, we nevah did that in WWF even with Steve Awwstin and The Rock.

And that's not the way he talks about it lol and i know he and Cornette don't like each other. At that point, it becomes believe who you believe. There's his side, their side, and the truth. As long as no one can get on the same page and get their egos out of the way, we'll never know the absolute truth. Maybe when they all pass someone will do that
:usure:

Let me shoot straight with you BRO, Are You Kidding Me BRO?

Listen to him BRO

One thing anyone who watched the viewing party of Nitro last night can admit was the effort Russo put into the shows. There was shyt happening every second, no wasted time with any BS, cutting to different shots and different wrestlers doing stuff non-stop. There were cliffhangers throughout the show with the idea to keep you tuned in and see what would happen. It's a lot different than the same old recycled shyt you see for the most part on Monday and Tuesday now.

There was one sequence where they cut from Flair/Steiner/Douglas in ring, to Nash entering the arena, to Bret sitting in the audience within a span of like 20 seconds :ehh:

Man that shyt was TERRIBLE. That worst than any Raw i've seen recently. Only thing that kept it from being complete shyt was the star power and Steiner's promo

:duck: Russo came into TNA again in late 06 and started fukking shyt up

See post 4
No one denys Russo created The Beautiful People. That's a fact that Velvet and Angelina will tell you.

TNA glory years are 2006 to 2012, mostly written by Russo.

What was wrong with the Last Rites match? Was it not entertaining? You view wrestling very similar to @mrken12 your not Russo's audience. He doesn't care about the wrestling fan that will watch any wrestling show, his goal was to get the casual fans and thats who he booked for.

Apparently every fan in the arena that night chanting "Fire Russo" is not Russo's audience

Exactly. The show made no sense at all and it was nonstop fukkery with no real direction. It's like they crammed a month of storylines into one show. Also only one match was over 5 minutes and every match had a screwy finish.

No they aren't. It was a handful of smark fans not every fan in the arena. The same handful of fans who chanted Joe's gonna kill you when he had his first TNA match. TNA in that era is known for their smark crowds they started the whole "this is awesome" bullshyt.

He pushed Norman Smiley:banderas:

Russo had a great two year run with some of the biggest stars ever in the business,Austin,Rocky some of the best wrestlers ever Hbk,Bret.

The talent made him, plus hot shot booking. After that it was over. When Vince wasn't there to steer the ship,Russo was exposed for just throwing shyt at the wall to see what sticks.
He's creative, doesn't mean his ideas are good.
Shyt the one thing he always points to is the rock heel turn at ss98,even he knows that was his peak.
Wcw was just a disaster, but was a money grab he says he knew from the first week, must have realised quick how difficult it was without Vince filtering his shyt:sas2:

Two year run starting 20 years ago, based on Jerry Springer type stuff.:camby:

Russo as an ideas man is solid. New Blood v Millionaires Club and MEM were both dope stories. But it's obvious that he needs someone to bonce ideas off of and filter his ideas to make them watchable.

Beautiful People is one of my all time favorite groups so I give him props for that one. :ehh:

Which Booker T title run are we talking about? We know that Russo loves to hot potato titles. :francis:
