unexplained is the single best wu tang song of all.

The hardest rza beat. Not to mention i gotcha back, 4th chamber, investigative reports

The best method man song of 1995 in shadowboxin

The coldest intro of all time

The best artwork/theme work / atmosphere of the entite group

Wu on songs they nt even listed on. A different time.

The story on the back

Cold world

Labels remix vold world remix

Duel of the iron mic:
I see your using an old style
I winder where you learned it from

You know very well, its yours too

Ha ive forgotten… will you show me…

for what have you come for?

Into the drop. Hardest kung fu sample of the entire crew. Picture blood baths in elevator shafts

Rza with the nord lead 2 doing his best synth work.

Yea like not classic ot anything

Like ghost said gza rhymes like reading the sunday paper.

I am comfortable and I love you
You my marsupisal breh but you buggin. RZA snapped on the beats here

When I found the flip I hit the :scust:

RZA was on that good dust mane

GZA had the understated but menacing delivery and the theme with the Shogun Assassin samples was dope as hell.

This isn't even my favorite GZA album, (I still like his first more. I prefer his more energized flow) but its still a stone cold classic.

93-96 Rza was just a fukking lunatic :mindblown:. Like how this dude just clip that one 2 and a half second sample and just made the coldest fukking song...it blows my mind.

It reminds me of the part on my favorite move "Mr Hollands Opus", where ole boy was comparing the news of his child being born to John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme". I don't care for the album because I don't understand it...but the more I listened to it, the more I respect the project.

Like I love dark and grimey, but in a form of direction. Liquid Swords to me just feels like an album that's not for me. I can bump it, but it's not my identity.

My speed is OB4CL, Iron Man, and ODB's jawn because it identifies my whole aura....besides chopping ki's :francis: .

There are albums that even the most artistic of rappers never touched. Hell, Lupe never heard Illmatic but appreciated It Was Written.

Its just a weird puzzling experience for me and Liquid Swords, because I want to put that album up there...but it's hard and I'm lying to myself :francis:
I love Liquid Swords and think its a top 5 Wu solo album, I also prefer OB4CL, Ironman and The Pillage ahead of it. I rank it interchangeable with Return to 36 in 4th or 5th place.

And while I think its a great album it does say something that arguably the best song on the album GZA doesn't even appear on.

The album sounds like how the album cover looks. GZA and his brothers travelling some apocalyptic futuristic version of NY slaying MCs until he reaches the final boss type shyt.

Its probably the most cinematic Wu album, it's eerie.. You jus get a eerie feeling listening to this album throughout. Tracks like Investigative Reports, listen to the SFX throghout, you'll hear a typewriter clicking back and forth offbeat throughout.

Duel of the iron mics... Listen to Inspectah decks verse and how it's in time with the explosions in the background.

Everything was so elaborately put together by Rza in this album, shyt is a audio movie. The first time I listened to this album immediately after smoking a J, it absolutely blew my mind to pieces.

It probably doesn't help that you don't have winters in Australia lol. I always used to listen to Cold World on my Walkman CD player bopping back from rainy days at school... It just hits different.

And bruh... GZA is the complete opposite of a lyrical myrical MC.... He can spit a short sentance that could mean 5 diff things.
