i tried to tell people Jay-Z didn't have 10s of millions until after he left Dame. Splitting money 3 ways on top of what the distribution company takes must have been painful

whiile i agree with what you said i think it went further than that . dame would actively go out of his way to minimize jay's role and refer to him as just a artist . on some ole im the brains behind this and hes just the talent. when in fact jay was the sole reason alot of the shyt popped off .

So clear in hindsight, from a time perspective and just being older, that Jay hated to do interviews and promo, seems like he thought it was beneath him lol and I'm in agreement, all that insincere, hand shaking, bottom level apperances he had no taste for.

And, if the plan was to sell the brand the whole time, then really everything else that happened, is due to personal/professional conflicts....I'd think Jay knew he didn't want to continue with Dame from the early days.
