Can someone explain how making Reigns into Cena 2.0 will NOT turn the crowds against him?

Yeah, when Bryan's schtick became the "Yes Movement" it threatened to water down everything that was awesome about Bryan in the first place. It's a testament to how good he is that he was still over as fukk.

With Reigns, they're either trying to make him like Bryan or make him like Cena. All faces have to overcome some odds, that's what makes the story captivating, but the key component is vulnerability, and Reigns just isn't a vulnerable character. They need to let Reigns find his own character.
