basically...as a huge cam fan i remember clearly calling him top 5 most underrated emcees of around that time period, it was probably between him and twista for me.
if you wanna know why nikkas like CAM (not so much the dipshyts) so much you gotta go back to COF, or better yet his COC shyt, that run from then up to SDE makes him noteworthy in an of itself as an actual talent.
come home with me is where i really stopped fukking with him heavy like that, the singles were crazy but i didn't like that album, and his albums after that even less, and the bulk of the early dip projects were heavily carried by the production. but even with me not really fukkin with them like that i can't sit here and act like them nikkas wasn't poppin.
cam's influence from the actual music to the fashion, the slangs, memes, the fukkery, the L's...dude has had a storied career, combine all that with his prime talent, you gotta give him his props.
