I'm a New York niga and some of y'all swear by this dudes reign of hip hop in the early 2000s. I see him as having a couple catchy singles and spitting generic elementary ABC rhymes along with the rest of Dipset. I'm not even trying to troll or start a flame war, im open to shyt and if someone makes me a believer then props to them. But what's dudes appeal??

same thing here. i think most of these out of town dudes are caught in his swag but new yorkers see that shyt ever day b, we're less impressed. dude was from mid to the latter part of his career.

cam'ron peaked during S.D.E., every now and then hes good for a solo track but it aint nuthin like them S.D.E. days.

i did think killa season was borderline classic tho. (i will re-listen soon)

the original purple haze was lookin classic but the retail was to me

i hated come home with me, from someone who been rollin wit cam since the WKCR days it was a HUGE letdown. i hated crime pays too.

before the roc cam had cam had a great run in singles.
