Where did I imply they were struggling? Check to check does not mean struggling. Its means that you are a couple bad months away from struggling.
You have to be an idiot to be a couple paychecks from struggling if you’re making 100k a year :russ:

So the coli is full of 30+ year old idiots with bad money management

Stupid ass better take your ass to Acorn instead of arguing nonsense all day.

But y’all the same dudes who buy p*ssy and spend money to DR to trick on underaged prostitutes.

I make 80k in DC and ain’t struggling at all

So is y’all capping, idiots or sum combination of both.

There is bigger difference between 10 and 50k than 50 and 80k.

That being said, the answer is 40K-ish, and no, that's not enough in most metropolitan areas in the United States of America.
Who said that you have to live in the metro areas. Most y’all nikkas be on the coli and internet all day based on the out of touch shii that y’all post. So why are you in the metro area?

Even then most people in big cities have roommates. Even Jay Z had a roommate at one point.

So let’s say you and a friend go half on a two bedroom split bills and everything

And let’s say the apartment was 2500 a month

You only paying 1250 a person which is doable with a 50k salary

So why do you think that thecoli likes to make 100k seem like peasant money?

Are they complain bragging?
Because people love having bad faith arguments with no real world application
100k is a decent salary for a single person
100k for a two person home starts to get tricky if it’s just a one income home but still doable
100k for a three person home with one salary, you are basically living paycheck to paycheck if you start to factor in
The child’s education (private vs public)
Daycare
Gas for two vehicles
Insurance for two vehicles
House insurance with add on insurance
Short/long term disability
Taxes/HOA fee(condominium/townhouse have these fees)
Groceries
After school activities for your child
Equipment for said activities
Clothing for the whole family
Health insurance(high deductible vs low deductible)
Co pays(you still have to pay a certain percentage for a procedure)
Dental/Optical insurance are usually on their on
Pet care if you decide to have one
Entertainment
Now add everything up and multiply this by the amount of children you decide to have
100k ain’t shyt especially for one working person in any scenario after your first child
But this thecoli home of the nikkas thinking it’s still 1995 and you can raise a competitive, healthy child off $35k a month
Inflation, price gouging, supply chain issues be damned
Most these nikkas don’t have children and if they do
They want them to get it out the mud like them
Or they Monday quarterbacking from a studio apartment on what people should be doing
Or just nut grabbing, dikk gobbling corporatist that praise the oligarchs, billionaire but turn their nose up on the working class

It’s not even about making 100k a year, it’s about how long you’ve been making 100k. I make well over 100k, but I haven’t been making that very long. Between aggressively paying down student loans and previous debt in addition to health insurance, private school, helping the fam to a reasonable degree, I still wait for the 1st and 15th

nikka complaining about a fortunate situation

:mjlol:

This just proves to me that people these days just want to be a victim.

From billionaires not wanting to be taxed

To people being fortunate enough to to land a job that allows them to pay off debt and help out family

Being happy isn’t cool anymore. That was for our parents generation

We’re all supposed to be edgy and depressed

I’m pretty sure it’s around $42,000

So if you’re a brotha making $70k to 80k, you’re really doing quite well, and hoes should be lined up to suck your dikk.

many factors to be considered. I’m 6 figures. The CTO at my company is black as well and I don’t know what he makes but it’s a lot more than me.

I think it would be more interesting if you asked the question about a particular industry. For example software engineers, ctos, etc.
Even in tech industry black people make less on average due to :mjpls: "cultural fit" no hire decisions from the more lucrative companies and startups and even more important an apprehension in salary negotiations.
People who come from less or are less confident in their business value often take the first number they see when they should have negotiated their salary. They are scared to look "greedy" and "entitled" or that their offer may be pulled. They never pull it.

You can get up to a 15-20% increase on salary just by asking for it before you start your job. 15%! That's bigger than any annual raise and close to a promotion. If you don't do that you end up underpaid vs others who actually ask for the shyt.

An example: two entry level fresh out of college engineers of the same ability level are offered 80k
Person A decides to just take the 80k cuz they just happy to be here and don't wanna look entitled
Person B decides to negotiate and ask for 15% more the company says ok and comes back with 10% that's 88k starting.

Now fast forward 3 years
Person A and B both got 2% annual raises and a promotion with a 20% raise
Person A is now at 101k
Person B is now at 112k

Now you may not think that's much just 11k but it gimps Person A compared to Person B because when they switch jobs and recruiters ask for salary expectations and for Person A their floor is at least 101k but Person B floor is at least 112k.
Then Person A and B do the same thing and apply to the same company. Recruiter asks for salary expectations and Person A and B both ask for 10% more
So Person A is offered 110k (less salary than Person B makes currently) and takes it
Person B is offered 123k they are happy with it but know they can get more and so asks for 10% more they give 5% instead and a 2% bonus so Person B 130k + a 2.5k bonus and they accept.

Now you got 2 people at the same company doing the same job at the same level but one makes 20% more
And person A will continue to be underpaid their whole career unless they actually negotiate
:wow: in this scenario greed and entitlement would actually help you because you're actually more likely to ask for more. Now ask yourself which group of people are the most likely to be entitled and most likely to be greedy and ask for shyt ? Now ask yourself which group of people is constantly being told to be humble and not to ask for things and is the least entitled?
:wow: Know your worth yall.
