Can someone point me to the work Tariq Nasheed has put in for the cause?

400 Year Survivors Of American Slavery.
The picture receipts obviously weren't explicit or convincing enough because in that very same thread you have...

What y'all didn't know in that thread that the OP created a few days after the Tariq memorial was that Welsing had two services prior to that, the earliest which was two months before right after she actually died.

I wouldn't troll over something like this. But it's obvious what's going around is misinformation.

Tariq may have indeed paid for a memorial.
But she died two whole months before that memorial.
And she had two additional memorials before that memorial.
And she comes from a family of funeral home owners so them not having money to pay for her own funeral does not make any logical sense.

Tariq paid for one of Welsing's memorials. - Leave it at that.
:shaq2:

:ohhh:Oh damn! after further analysis he only paid for a memorial! Tariq aint shyt! :scust:

:camby:shyt is pathetic.

The aging failed musician is in here giving himself hypertension and aneurysms defending john lewis

but nothing noted in here is something that the average everyday black person can just spout off the top of their heads if asked. :comeon:

He was instrumental in the 60's and should be praised, but that was just a few years out of his life...for decades after that he was just your run of the mill politician. relax. :manny:

Paid for Frances Cress Welsings funeral expenses
Paid for Dr Ben elderly care after he was abandoned in retirement home
Multiple school giveaways for inner city youth before covid hit
His documentaries are used as curriculum for black youth globally
Giving money via cashapp to black americans impacted by covid financial crisis
Receipts of him giving much needed funds to orphanages in africa
Linked with Ghanaian leadership trying to make an easier process for foundational black americans to relocate to the continent
Helped Tamir Rice's mother
Helped many other families of black people murdered by police
Helped and received shoutouts from grass roots organizers in Ferguson
Exposes violent white supremacists employment locations on a regular basis

I can go on if you want

Funny, countless celebrities and athletes have done all this on a far higher level than Tariq yet been clowned. And yet the same people who would dap this tepid ass list are the same people who would dismiss a bill that cut the black un-insured rate by 50% because it didn't have the word "black" in the title or apply only to black people. I thought yall only cared about tangibles. Is it oochie wallie or one mic...

Didn’t Tariq just post the bail for the brother who got into a fight with that police officer?

Either way, none of you can argue these two tweets ain’t true:

I’ve never heard a group of black folks bring up John Lewis, and they’ve made sure stokely Carmichael/kwame ture made 0 history books :manny:

Stokely Carmichael is Trinidadian...Interesting..

when nikkas say Google is your friend it means they don't know and want you to do your own research to substantiate their baseless claims. A tactic that shea butter twitter loves
No it isn't. I been on this board for fukking 12 years, including the Hamster. I know how this shyt works. There is no right answer, when somebody answers that question which was shown in this thread when answers were given. It won't ever be enough and goal lines will be moved. Same argument is used against Obama since 2010 on here. Bu bu what did Obama do? Then you give 10 things and it's bu bu but that wasn't enough. So miss me with the bullshyt.

These are bills he sponsored in 2017 alone, many of which will help African American families. He co-sponsored reparations bills for years as well. Brah was actually in the government tryna enact actual change and not just twitting shyt. But nah, they'll give Tariq more love because he says what they wanna hear. Even though he doesn't try to enact any change, just talks shyt and riles people up. Brah will complain about protesters being too peaceful, but his ass ain't been ain't nah nother protest himself. Twitter fingers.

I dont follow Tariq and I think John Lewis is a hero, but...

Why cant we just praise them both and appreciate the ways they contributed to the cause.

Why does it have to be an either or?

Not directing this at the OP, but one doesnt have to lose for the other win. :manny:
