No individual team has had more controversy around them in history than the Patriots.

And not just in football.
Literally no other team in professional sports.
That's just not true:russ:. Go look up the history of the Denver Broncos then comeback to me. Only reason you think this is because this is happening currently, to the best most envied team in the NFL, in the most media open era of sports.

Go and do the research. I dare you

You're telling me to go do the research yet you can't even post in here what's so controversial about the Broncos winning?

Let's hear it breh.
On what questionable pretenses were the Broncos winning?

Bill Romanowski and his EAS affiliation?

Did you know that the 90's Cowboys had their own SpyGate? :sas1:

former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson: "When I came into the NFL, back in '89, I talked to a Kansas City scout and he said, 'Here's what we do, we videotape the opposing team's signals and then we sync it up with the game film.' So I did it."

Or how about them stacking players by fukking with the salary cap in 2010?

Or Jerry tampering with AP last year?

Check it before you think all these other teams are angels.

Oh and this is a good read from 2007 about teams with communication issues. Pats are just one of the many teams implicated.

Last 15 seconds should be quiet time

Redskins and Colts make a nice appearance on that list.

Somehow these communication issues even affected Shanahan AT HOME in Denver. Gee I wonder why he cut his own communication off :jbhmm:

Breh, no one outside the AFC East and maybe the Colts were envious of the Patriots. Teams have had success before and not attracted this level of loathing and distrust from the entire league. Pats fans stay on that envious tip, but it's really that the organization is scummy.

Trust nothing from this Patriots era.

They don't belong in the same class with San Francisco, Dallas and Pittsburgh as GOAT winning franchises.

Pittsburgh is clean you say...Well then....

Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher admitted that his Steelers teams stole opponents' defensive signals. In an interview with a local radio station he said: "The only thing they [The Patriots] got caught (was) doing it with a camera. We had people that always tried to steal signals. Stealing someone's signals was a part of the game, and everyone attempted to do that."

Cowher continued:"Part of the things we had (were) wristbands that we were using to do it." Cowher said signal stealing "isn't even an element anymore because of the communications that take place on the field to the quarterback, to the linebacker. So it's an element of the game that doesn't exist."

When asked if the Patriots' alleged signal steeling had any impact on the the Steelers' 41-27 defeat in the 2004 AFC Championship loss, Cowher explained: "what happened when we lost that game is they outplayed us, and it had nothing to do with stealing signals or cheating or anything else. They were a better football team on that day."
