What is important to add here is that they are in their situation by their own fault. 50 wanted them to branch out but they were too lazy

Far as the branding and perception of them as minions go, 50 definitely has culpability as well...during the height of these dudes' careers 50 was hoe'ing and embarrassing them in public treating them like lil nikkas, and isolating them from pretty much the entirety of the industry via petty fake beefs....Game was a G-Unit artist that tried to "branch out" back when "branching out" actually meant something and could realistically benefit his career and standing in the game, and we all see how that ended up...then all of a sudden when 50's brand started cooling off, THEN he starts the whole "ok now y'all need to try and do your own thing" stuff...but it was too late by that point, they were already branded as the underlings of a divisive and declining act in 50 which limited both their potential fanbase independent of g-unit and their networking with other acts...

So to answer the question, can they be successful without 50? Nope...granted Yayo wasn't gonna ever be sh!t without 50, but Banks should've been being prepped to carry the brand sometime down the line the moment Game got ran off...now he's forever an internet mixtape rapper that can't book a show anywhere outside a small club somewhere in the tristate or the random one-off spot date overseas...unless he can somehow link up and ride somebody else's wave, which years of g-unit beef makes difficult

Do you mean commercially successful? If so, absolutely no, they will not be.

Some of y'all are delusional to think otherwise. G Unit hasn't been hot in like 10 years

Banks should have never been a "yes" man for Fif at his prime. I mean, he could have spoke highly of Fif and not mention beef, but he should never kiss his ass like that. Now, people look at this dude like :smh: because he will forever be known as Fif's lackey

Its true. He got 2 massive singles ("Benz Beamer Bentley" and "Start it Up") in 2010 and never capitalized on it. When situations like that arise in an up-and-coming artists career, he can sink or swim. Banks choked and he sank.

He should have, but didn't. Now his future income is gonna suffer greatly because of it.
