He's not a disappointment it's too early for that.. This is a garbage ass thread on some I said it first I'm mad smart type shyt..

The Buccaneers have no running game plus Vincent Jackson went down. They have no TE so everybody is rolling coverage to Mike Evans..

Thread is ass
What's shepherds upside?

I'm disgusted that Tampa can't win a fukking home game them nikkas seem to play way better on the road. Jameis missed some big plays yesterday but I think he's easily a top 15 QB in the league right now considering the lack of talent them nikkas got. That 2nd round waste on Aguayo is Indy bad Jameis need an old reliable ass Anquan type nikka someone who get the big 3rd down catches.

He always reminded me of Eli :yeshrug: he will be fine. If Eli had an easier offense his first few years nikkas wouldn't think it was a bad thing to compare the two.

He holds onto it for a long time cuz we run a vertical offense, but that's when we had Evans, VJax, and Austin Stefarian-Jenkins on the squad, all three of them were 6'5" dudes who could go after big bombs, we lost two of them and now have 2 slot receivers in there place, people need to be honest here, does Russel Sheppard and Adam Humpharies actuall scare opposing defense or are they just after thoughts? When they're in that 3rd and 4th receiver role, their fine, but as no. 2s they're ehh. The playcalling is still the same even with 2 of our receivers out, run deep routes. There's no balance to what type of pass plays are called, last year with Lovie we wouldn't go deep and this year we don't run short stuff. It doesn't help that we lost 3 running backs as well, Martin needs to come back as well or just put him on IR, cuz something ain't right with his hamstring since he's been out since week 2.

What pissed me off yesterday our fans sayin' that the defense did enough to win the game, what the fukk were they watchin'? Carr throws for 500 yards and they run for another 120 on the ground, then give up the game tying touchdown at the end.

This team still has a serious lack of talent and it was put on full display yesterday, that's what happens when your gm trades 2 decent picks and drafts a fukkin' kicker who can't kick.

I understand. Your offensive coaching philosophy is fukking terrible and the receiving corps is average. That said, the fact remains that Jameis sails way too many routes from 8-15 yards. He had that one play where he hit Sheppard on a shallow cross and Sheppard turned it into like a 30 yard gain, then he basically never made that throw successfully again.

Other teams been doing just fine with an average receiving corps. Look what Mariota's got to work with or Prescott most of the season.

You can't tell me Jameis ain't to blame breh. Really, 16 completions in five quarters of football :dahell:

I get that and oh I know he's gotta fix the overthrow issue, he tries to rocket everything in there, he needs to work on his touch passing a lot during the offseason.

I wouldn't use Prescott as an example cuz, the Cowboys were a playoff team that just happened to lose Romo, so it wasn't like their offense was trash.

Tennessee and Dallas have way better o-lines and running games than Tampa. Before Martin/Sims/Rodgers all went down we were barely runnin' for big gains and we didn't have a good game on the ground til the San Fran game, I don't count the Carolina game, cuz that was a struggle to run the ball in and we pretty much tried to kill clock that game.

Trust me, I ain't absolving Winston of blame, but he ain't the biggest reason we're losing games, that still goes on the defense, especially that Rams game. How the fukk you let Case Keenum light you up.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I love Jameis as much as anyone. That's on everything. Dude came to FSU and took us to heights we hadn't seen in a decade plus.

With that being said, he HAS to improve his accuracy. There's no question about it. He has too many high throws, too many overly and subsequebtly off throws and too many throws that are simply off the mark.

If his accuracy doesn't improve, he will never be the QB he can ultimately be.

He also has to STOP forcing the ball so much. Since the end of the 2013 season he got into his head that he can make every play regardless of the defense, personell, situation, etc. Take what the defense gives you. I hate Tom Brady. But, I will say this: I admire his poise in the pocket. The world is ending around him and dude doesn't give a fukk (unless you get around his knees). He knows he's going to find an outlet. He'll hit the back coming out the backfield, hit a little drag to Edelman, and then boom 50 yard gain to Gronk down the seam. Jameis needs to cultivate more of that into his game, but his biggest shortcoming currently is definitely his accuracy.

I've watched every game of his and he's Alex Smith status with the deep ball. Mike Evans has gotten behind the defense in pretty much every game and he keeps overthrowing him. They wanted to go heavy on no-huddle, and now they've dialed it back and they're running it cause they don't trust Winston yet. He needs to work on his mechanics in the offseason

He desperately needs a short passing game system. Given how smart he is, you think he would've figured that out and work with the OC to incorporate that into his game...but he seems obsessed with the homerun big plays at this point.
