Why do people make these "can we all admit" threads? Take 5 random people and try to get them to all agree on virtually anything. There are so many great producers it is unlikely you'll get more than 10-15% of people to agree on who the best is....

because this is an internet forum where a lot of us sometimes share likes and also dislikes. but no matter the thread, it always open for great discussion because that's what we here to do alongside have some fun

He doesn't necessarily have to blend other genres. I just would like to see him make more beats outside of his signature sound.

Say what you will about Kanye but he could have easily rode that chipmunk soul wave wayyyyy longer than he did. But no, he changed the sound with each album and delivered something dope. Dre's sound constantly evolved from the early NWA days to Death Row to Aftermath.

I know all producers have their distinctive qualities, but Premo is way too easily ID'ed. Samples and scratches, rinse and repeat.
