I am Haitian but raised in America. I date various first gen Americans (Ghanian, Nigerian, Haitian)
. There isn't much difference from their African-American counter parts. No matter who I date my baseline is usually the same. Driven, educated, and just overall aware of life in general.
If I were to date a woman that was raised in Haiti, moved here at her mid 20's or so. There will be some cultural differences despite us being both Haitian. I am not religious, she most likely will be. She highly likely will be very traditional, I will not be lol.
.
Anyways, the best woman for me to date tend to be other first generation. The best woman for me long term was AA, till this day, her and I still talk(She from Cleveland) Her current is West African. We saw eye to eye on a lot things culture, religion, blackness, finances etc. etc. Never we had an argument between us.
The girl I am dating right now is from Baltimore. Second woman from baltimore I have dated lol.
