Can we be honest, Bray vs. Orton wasn't the most disappointing match last night

I won't say that Wyatt/Orton was as BAD as it was disappointing...but Jericho/KO didn't let me down as much.
I figured all of the projections were leading up to one final SOMETHING at the end of the match and it never came. All the fukkery leading up to the match and then they sprinkled in a bit throughout the match, but the theatrics in reaction to it and the finish were so stale...
...it would've been cool to see Orton getting awarded the belt while on the ground, backed up into the corner looking like
I actually figured the last projection would be Sister Abigail or there'd be some kind of implied apparition to pay off the fact that Randy was burning compounds down and jamming symbols into gravesites.
Maybe you even have a veiled woman appear momentarily when the lights come back on, have her disappear when the lights go off and then have Bray go for the finish...have Randy reverse it, and that's the finish.
Jericho/KO definitely could've used more emotion, and maybe a few more call-backs to the notion that KO was a Y2J stan. Maybe have KO get Jericho with a few "ASK HIM!"s or a cocky "Come on, babaaaay!" pin.
Maybe a triangle dropkick from KO and then later, Jericho schools him by doing all his originals on some "This is how it's done, Junior."

Neither match was that bad to me, just underwhelming. Like decent TV matches. The jericho/owens finish was very anticlimatic.
I didnt expect either of those to be special though, so the main event was the most disappointing. Even that wasnt trash though.

Rollins vs Triple H was more of a disappointment because of Rollins' laughable selling and all those months of buildup and anticipation leading to a long boring match. Triple H for the 2nd straight year drops a dud. If it wasn't for the DX and NWO involvement at 31 it would have been 3 straight years.

Jericho/KO was good, and what I thought it would be.
Hard for Orton/Bray to disappoint when expectations were already so low. Orton/Bray are the ones who should be competing for a mid-card title. Although, I guess that's what the SD title has become now.

No. Orton vs Wyatt was one of the worst main events on a big show I've ever seen. Wasn't technically bad but it was a nothing match with absurd effects. For that feud/story to have that for a blow off match at WM and for the belt is ridiculous.
These new guys, Orton included don't really have larger-than-life personalities/characters which is why they're matches come off as "bad"; even though the in ring work is fine.
Wyatt is supposed to be Taker 2.0 but there is no fukking comparison tbh
I like Wyatt but dude just doesn't scream "star" to me, his entrance is boring idgaf if everyone jacks off to it, it doesn't touch Taker's. And when he starts wrestling I just see some fat hillbilly with a big beard, I don't see massive star ala Berg/Taker/Brock/Sting etc etc.
The cruiserweights for example are good wrestlers, but they're all so bland and cookie-cutter that I don't give a shiny shyt what happens to them. They could be all cut tomorrow and I wouldn't care in the slightest
