Can we be honest, Bray vs. Orton wasn't the most disappointing match last night

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Kevin Owens v. Jericho was fukking ASS, for all the hype... that shyt had ZERO heat. It felt like a fukking RAW level match, it ended super abruptly, and it didn't justify the build up at all.

Technically it wasn't a bad match at all. But for what it was supposed to be it didn't deliver.

To think people were bytching because they felt that was a WM Main Event level feud.

Imagine that shyt we saw last night going on last?

Worst match on the card.

Orton is Orton he's terrible. I almost would say he's worse than Roman, he has no gravitas. But this ain't about him.

No, bray vs Orton was the worst

And bray was saying he'd hate to have to follow him and randy, he's clueless

Roman in the main event again was a disgrace.

Was legit expecting Vince and the entire roster to come out on stage to close the show with a praise and worship session for Roman.

KO-Jericho had to follow up a banger so it took a while to get going but eventually did

Bray-Blandy was rushed, thus trash. Haitch-Rollins was 30 minutes of working the knee to get to a 30 second payoff, flop. Reigns-Taker had no business going over 10 minutes or finishing the show, trash.

Those three were the worst spots on the card by a mile.

i'm gonna agree with OP b/c Owens/Jericho was built up for months. Like we all saw the swerve coming from day 1, 5-6 months ago. It was built as the new MEgaPowers

And what we got last night was trash with a disappointing ending.

Reigns wasn't the worst part of that match though :pachaha:
Roman is always the worst part of his matches, and his feuds, and his promos. Nothing about this guy is compelling. Nothing about him feels authentic or genuine. Everything with him feels forced and manufactured. Imagine if :flabbyvince: tried to go this route with him and cena 20 years ago. We would be watching Monday nitro right now or maybe nothing if the network heads still didn't want wrestling on TNT.

It is possible to dislike (or in your case hate) someone and still be objective. If you watched that match and thought the guy who was moving -2 mph and botching most of the match wasn't the weak point in the match, I don't know what to tell you.

Owens vs Jericho was a RAW match, agreed.

Orton vs Bray was a fukking abomination.

I knew both matches wouldn't be anything worth a damn but the WWE Title match so bad it couldn't even come close to reach my really fukking low expectations.

There's more to the train wreck last night than ring work. Obviously taker looked awful. The problem for Roman is that we don't care if he can go in the ring (he can) or not. The problem is the overwhelming majority of us don't want him on tv at all at this point. When cena gave us an amazing showing in the hour long London match with HBK in 2007 before backlash, I would imagine he got his due for his performance on :hamster:. The problem is that performance did nothing to make him more interesting or compelling beyond that night. All the problems we've had with Roman going back to late 2014 when they gave him the superstar of the year award and was on tv every week even when he was out hurt are still problems that they haven't bothered to fix. If I were to compare it to the issues that plague a video game, it'd be like if 343 industries never bothered to fix all the online problems with Halo mcc and in 2017 were still trying to push the game with all its problems. Or you could use halo 5 with all the shyt missing when the game launched as another example.

The problem with Wrestlemania 33 was the homogeneous pace. Everything was slow. Do you know why everything was slow? Because the majority of the matches that were premiere "main event" level featured guys over the age of 45.

Jericho is an all time great but he is SLOW AND OLD. The same can be said for Triple H, Undertaker, and Goldberg.

It's EMBARASSING when Shane fukking McMahon is 1/2 of the best match of the night. I guess he has less wear and tear on his body so it allowed him to be able to keep up. He was also wrestling the best worker in the world so that helps, but yeah...

Mania 33 was bad because the pace of the matches was slow. There's nothing wrong with a slow, methodical match, but when the whole card is littered with them it's a bad look. Plus those matches were LONG. You can have a short and methodical match. You can have a fast and long match. You can't have a slow and long match on a PPV that is 5 hours and 10 minutes long. COME ON SON.
