The Rae album was almost dope.

But it's true. Mass Appeal and this series haven't lived up to the expectations. You got MC's in their mid-50's who have their own labels, but with mad lean budgets, trying to recapture their greatness on a label that's known for having limited funds too.

So they're not gonna get the right production, or the proper promotion, or even A&R work because they can't afford it. And then the artists themselves are going to do whatever to cut costs. So if you do that, you're most likely gonna get a subpar product. The issue is, legends are cheap as a MF! And they do not want to spend on making music today.

they shouldnt.. core audience is 100x cheaper than them.. they aint gonna buy it. Analytics will tell you that much.

By far the weakest track on there. Concert was dope. No phones allowed. Crazy set design. Live band with them. Badu is a beast. They killed it live. She even had an MPC and was making beats on stage live and drumming crazy

To be fair… when was the last time ghost put out an album that was really like that? Something that really had you like

the singles he dropped were halfway decent if we’re being real.


Alc been on an all time run the past few years
And badu aint miss with no project ever
So wouldnt it be safe to assume that what theyre dropping is going to be great/amazing?

Nobody with common sense was expecting Ghost to drop a classic album in 2025.

With OP, he just following a script at this point. shyt on an album relentlessly without hearing it. An album he never gonna spend a dime on either way. Then get mad about it all over again after the release. And act like it's a personal insult if anyone got a different opinion or found some value in it. Weird behavior.
