...... all of it got the same feeling as the countless projects that were "curated by the Almighty M-80" and "fully produced by Big Ghost LTD" . . .. my instinct is tellin me i would rather have heard a Nas / Q-Tip album in 2025 instead of with Premier . . or maybe Large Pro . .. old heads in my bracket is mostly tired and worn-out on the daily . . . so it dont take too much aural energy to make them catch a half-vibe . . .. . . like OP said . . .. .. is it really that screwface strain ya neck muzik that make you walk down the block lock-step with a bop in a militant mind-state ?!?!! . . .. . . or is it cool calm and collected like the jams on 101.9 . .. ?!?!!! .. . . Every Big Ghost LTD project was a dud, every single one of them. I can definitely make better beats than that dude

I have faith in Alchemist/Havoc and Preem I'm putting up a prayer but I do like the Roc Marci album which the coli hates. That Roc Preem album over any of these releases

There’s a difference between blaming Mass Appeal and being disappointed. People shyt all over labels like Aftermath and TDE for shelving artists and albums but they have both maintained an expectation of quality that will get people to listen to anything they put out.
There was a ton of excitement for this string of releases and in many people’s books they are now 0 for 3. The goodwill is mostly lost. No one’s gonna check for these albums off Mass Appeal name alone now. Had these projects had stronger oversight with regards to tracklists and production choices in particular they could have built strong momentum for elder statesman albums and the label but in fact many would argue they’ve done the opposite.
