would be best to remove geographic conferences and replace with two conferences based on their standings of last season.
Reshuffle teams left vs right. 1, 2 and so on would be on each opposing side. Favs would face stiffer competition early on.

But how is this a bad thing for Eastern Conference GMs? They send all the competition to the West. Retool their teams. Then have an easy road to ECF. Make money and look like a good GM.It's getting real
