Part of the reason is due to the continued narrative that Egypt was the only "modern society," imagine if, inthe last 30 years Afro-centric people had spent more and more effort trying to advertise ancient Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Niger and Nigeria? We would know much, much more about the histories and achievements of the people(s) of these countries, and discover a lot of marvels.Do you have a link, I'd like to see it.
On another note: black american obsession with ancient Egypt as opposed to West Africa (where much of their ancestry actually hails from) is due to only one of these two being a civilization universally accepted as such... a civilization... moreover one whose influence and legacy are undeniable and actually celebrated. If there were pyramids in Benin then they'd rep that too.
I really don't know much about ancient Egypt and its people, whether they were mainly subsaharan, asiatic or caucasian. But unless they had some relation to Guinea and Guineans, I ultimately don't care. But like someone else said these guys are mainly inoffensive, so it's all good.
And I'll find one. He has since changed it up after getting dragged through the mud, but nearly all of the pre-2014 stuff looked like this:
You sound like a White liberal who isn't into violent BDSM and thinks you have to have some significant position to judge a person, and that's entirely untrue. I'm smart enough to know bullshyt when I see it.

You're just another young kid who has no idea of how the real world works nor do you even realize how much work I've done in my life to get to the point of knowledge and understanding I'm at now.
Do whatever you want. I'll be at the FedReserve in a few months working on monetary policy for the "real world," while part-time teaching urban students of the "real world" about the ways they can pay for college and issues in the judiciary system.
