We wouldn't see this thread if the media hadn't been shoving the "LeBron is MVP" narrative down our throats all season. He's had a great season but too many of them were acting like he was doing it alone with this squad when the reality is when healthy, it's a near perfect cast of players around him.

They didn't put a supporting cast around him like the Warriors with Curry this season or the Nuggets with Jokic.

I made the argument before the season that LA actually downgraded when it came to certain positional players compared to last year and people thought that I was crazy. AD was helping to mask those deficiencies and now you’re seeing that those moves are coming back to haunt them.

It’s funny because you still hear people who get paid to talk hoops say things like “How will they counter The Lakers size?” When in actuality there not nearly as big as they used to be in a meaningful way.
