Seems like Harden is the biggest target for this seasons underwhelming play of the Rockets. (He does deserve some) But yo, look at his team :dahell:.

Our second option is goddamm Trevor Ariza. Ariza is my dude but he should never be the second option on a contender.

Our third option is Beverly. Beverly has been clutch for us and I appreciate his game but come on man.

Then we have D12, who really can't score around the basket period. He's not a good passer either so really all he can do is catch lobs on pnrs, and hold down the paint of the defensive end. Which isn't elite anymore either.

Honestly, Kobe wasn't catching heat for that 2012 season and really what's the difference? Actually I'd argue Kobe had a better squad, because atleast he had another great player in Pau. Kobe had one of his best seasons and barely got the 8th seed. Why? Bad coaching, and that roster was trash, like the rockets this year. Dwight wasn't Dwight anymore since he bounced from the Magic. Kobe is one the goats, don't get me wrong. But it's undeniable that this Rockets team is talent deficient.

Every other contender has multiple elite players. We overachieved like hell last season and yeah I still think Harden deserved MVP, regardless of the fact Curry was and is a batter baller. nikka we had Tarik black and old ass Terry starting for us half the season. I still can't believe last year happened.

Anyway Harden has been on a tear for the past month + and this team is still trash. Harden even stepped up defensively. So I had to let yall know what the deal is.

Harden is trash. Flopping fakkit doesn't make his team better with his isos so as a result everyone around is garbage also.

Hardens trash? Breh I'd rather you just admit you hate the guy. He runs so many isos because no one else can even dribble the damn ball. He is the only reliable offense we have.

Yes let's take a look at his supporting cast :jbhmm:

Trevor Ariza: A surefire perimeter stopper with three point range and championship experience

Patrick Beverley: A pitbull on the defensive side who had also improved his three point shooting this season

D Howard: A three-time DPOY who still has the ability to block and alter shots at the rim

They have three really good defensive players in their starting lineup but for some strange reason they rank almost dead last in damn near every defensive statistical category. Seems mind of odd doesnt it?

Why do you think this is happening brethren? :jbhmm:

So you're telling me that Harden himself negates three dominant defenders? Nope, all three of them are not NEARLY the same level of defenders they once were. Harden's on ball defense is actually much improved. His ball watching and crappy switching is really his demise. Either way one bad defender doesn't break down a team like that.

At the end of the day, the Rockets have NO offensive players besides Harden. The main reason our defense is so trash is because of all of our shooters are bricking threes and the opposing team getting long rebounds for easy buckets.

Are you seriously telling me you think a team with ARIZA as the second option should be contending?? Even when Ariza won his championship, he had Pau and Odom as the second and third options. Ariza is not even a real scoring option, but that's literally what he is on this team. Ariza's role should be no more than what Battier's role was on the Heat. Beverly has been great but he is an overrated defender for sure, at least in 2016.

nikkas gonna deny facts to shyt on Harden breh...not sure what else you expect

I aint no Harden stan, but in the same manner that AD gets a pass for having no ones, I kinda gotta give Harden SOMEWHAT the same cushion. His team is a shyt ton better on paper, but still is probably a bottom 10ish roster.

Your team can't be trash when they were in the fukking conference finals a year prior. Foh

Dude runs more ISOs than some entire teams have so far this year. Dude has his GM by the balls and is literally running people out of town that ain't down with his fukkboy offense.

Breh im telling you as a avid rockets watcher, Harden's isos are literally the most effective offense on this team. When Lawson tried running the offense it was literally like watching a college basketball team. It's so disgusting to watch the offense on this squad. Harden is the saving grace. Take Harden off this team we are a bottom 5 team at best.

Thread was doomed from the start:francis:

These people talk about Dwight like he killed more people than OJ, Hernandez, and Harvin combined, "cause he's too happy".:yeshrug:

But they claim to give "objective" opinions on the Rox

I swear, Harden and the Rockets are the only team that can't be discussed rationally on here. Even with the massive Bron hate, there still is legitimate Cavs discussions. These dudes go straight to their youtube trolling persona as soon as a nikka mentions Harden. :francis:

Harden didn't get this level of hate lil he got here, neither did Dwight. People just hate Houston for some reason:yeshrug:
Probably because they know their local thots just don't stack up:takedat:

Since Morey got here we're top 5 in the league in wins, but you don't ever hear that:DKLean:

How effective can it be if you're fighting off Utah for a playoff spot now? Dude's usage increased from an already insane rate last year and the direct result is your team turning straight dysfunctional.

You gotta be a hardcore Stan not to see it.

Or if you actually watch Rockets games and you see every role player bricking 75% of their shots, especially lay ups...:francis:

Ariza comes through occasionally
