Its been that way for a while about the Rockets. Not just with harden. Back in the old forum they hated in yao and tmac itrationally too.I swear, Harden and the Rockets are the only team that can't be discussed rationally on here. Even with the massive Bron hate, there still is legitimate Cavs discussions. These dudes go straight to their youtube trolling persona as soon as a nikka mentions Harden.

Many people ignore 2012 injuries, the Lakers starting 5 played like 11 games together..once they were all healthy they showed they were the best squad in the 2nd half. The reason James Harden gets shytted on is because Kobe tries and Harden doesn't, there is plenty evidence of Harden playing lazy basketball while Kobe gives 100. I agree that the Rockets squad overall is overrated, and last year was a miracle run by everyone on that squad. Didn't even have them making playoffs last season, but you can see why people hate Harden.
This is one hating ass post. So you're telling me last year when the Rockets were ranked 6th in defensive efficiency last season it was all down to Harden? One player alone no matter how poor a defender he's perceived to be can drag a team down from 6th to 25th.Yes let's take a look at his supporting cast
Trevor Ariza: A surefire perimeter stopper with three point range and championship experience
Patrick Beverley: A pitbull on the defensive side who had also improved his three point shooting this season
D Howard: A three-time DPOY who still has the ability to block and alter shots at the rim
They have three really good defensive players in their starting lineup but for some strange reason they rank almost dead last in damn near every defensive statistical category. Seems mind of odd doesnt it?

Beverley has been an overrated defender since 2013, Norris Cole was giving him work the other day while Dwight's defense has fallen off a cliff after the back injury. Ariza's the only reliable defender in the team these days. Having the worst PF rotation in the League probably doesn't help either.

Worst PF rotation in the League and Dwight's been in and the role players can't defend but yeah let's pin this all on Harden. The only player performing above average in the team is Ariza.
He doesn't even iso as much as people think anyways. When you're leading the League in minutes and the alternative to an isolation are Dwight Howard post ups or contested 3's from Beverley and Ariza what do y'all expect? He's cut back on the top of the key iso's and is working more in the post these past couple of weeks which is why his FG% continues to improve every week.
The only problem with Harden this season are the turnovers. Teams have been doubling him all season long and he's struggled in taking care of the ball.
The idea he's an inherently selfish player is ridiculous. He's literally 7th in the League in assists, ahead of Curry, LeBron, Lillard, Lowry etc.

Everybody on his roster is better than Smush Parker, Slava Medvedenko, and Chris Mihm. Championship or bust for Harden.

So now you see what I've been trying to tell you all along. My issue is with you acting as if McHale was to blame, when he wasn't. Yes they needed to move on from him because he lost the lockerrom, but the problems were much deeper than blaming him. I'm glad you can finally see what's wrong with this team like what's stated in the OP.
But when we had Dwight, you guys made him sound like a certified HOF'er that was being held back, now he's not enough
