Can we look back at the Iman and JR Smith trade for a second?

Gilbert willing to pay to keep them around too :obama:

These guys gave up Dion freaking Waiters and received two players and a first round pick they later used to acquire a legitimate center :dwillhuh:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
If Knicks can somehow get Tristan Thompson next season I'll call it even:manny:

They wont, he's a RFA and the Cavs will match whatever offer he gets.

Cavs have a tough decision..can they afford both Thompson and Love at max?

They can, with the cap rising they will definitely give Tristan 4 years $60 million and max out Love next year.

This is how you gauge a true superstar. Melo just stops the ball and doesnt really use his teammates. Mosgov would be no more than a garbage big on any other team and J.R would just be a chucker. LB makes them both look much better than what they really are. And I still still think Shump has tons of untapped potential. LeBron makes his team so much better.
I haven't watched too many cavs games but isn't jr still a chucker?

I think it's a problem with how the knicks are structured.
They aren't really that effective with Melo because that guy is a fukking black hole once he gets the ball. When he goes down? JR is like cool, this is my squad now :snoop:

They needed to be moved at all costs, I don't care what we did or did not get in return. This is a complete destroy and rebuild project...hopefully we get the #1 pick.

They were effective with Melo for a time though. Shump was ballin like this for the Knicks the last time they were in the playoffs. J.R. also won 6th man with Melo & is only shooting marginally better now than when he was in NY.

I can't really buy into the black hole shyt because they had bigger roles on offense playing with Melo than they do now. The biggest difference is Carmelo isn't Lebron James & Ray Felton/Jose Calderon aren't Kyrie Irving.
