Bought the album about a month later after its release. My girl at the time and I were driving down to Myrtle Beach and I popped it in at the NC/SC line. Mos come out swinging.

That album was, in the infamous word of Mista Lawnge, from Black Sheep, "SLAMMING!!!""

aged better than a lot of 90's hip-hop classics

also Mos is better than Kweli but Train of Thought also aged well and it just gets better as you age and get more life experience. 2000 Seasons and Get By are some of the best rap songs I've ever heard

Somethings got to give

Are both magnus opus.
that may never be touched in the genre.
Two of the best records in rap history.
Two of the best album cuts in rap history.
Two of the best dark horse records cross genre records in rap history.
Two of the best vibe'y records in rap history.
two of the few records in rap. You can seamlessly transistion from ol school magnum opus. From a group like war to rap.

must have and must listen records in amy genre.
While being as good. If not better than any record in any genre all time.

Classic album. What's funny is that out of all the brag raps, raps about cars/rims/ice/girls/etc I've heard in my life...no song made me want success more than Mr. nikka. The idea of just being on top of your shyt, being able to do whatever the fukk you want and being able to to shake your head at white people hating on you was way more up my alley as a kid than anything else.

One of the first full HH albums I memorized and loved from start to finish - haven't listened in a while

Mos was my first rap crush til I met him

Talent wise you can’t name me 10 more talented rappers all round.
