Can we talk about Brian Cashman for a second?

cashman is a decent gm. people are too quick to dismiss his ability as a gm with the whole payroll argument. we seen other teams try to emulate it in recent years and they haven't come close to matching the yankees' success.

but..

he also seems to be a pretty terrible human being. and pretty much since hal and hank took over.. he has gotten rid of his filter. he says whatever the fukk he wants to these days.

(Yankees were like at the future tickets and merchandise sales)...... no one else would have given him 27.5 million a year

I ain't mad at A Rod personally... Yankees were stupid to give him that contract back in 2007 but I can see why Cashman has reasons to dislike this guy over the years

I don't think the PED scandal has ruined a player's legacy more than A-Rod's. What a fraud. He's made the Yankees look bad. He's made Cashman look bad. The lying and deceit is probably the worst of it. So I'm not surprised that the organization is turning its back on him. He probably deserves it.
