What the fukk is going on in here :wtf:

People acting like Popovich did not outright say "I don't call plays for him"

I take that to mean that Leonard just has to figure it out every game...he just got to look at the flow of his team, the other team, how people are shooting, and figure out when/where to pick his spots...

Cause the spurs damn sure call plays for Parker...and Timmy...and Manu...

But somehow...because Kevin Durcan't said he is a system player...he is a system player...

Kevin Durant has one of the worst coaches in the league...plays for maybe the cheapest organization in the league...makes some of the worst decisions I seen on a basketball court down the stretch...his right hand man is the only person who makes more...plays with some of the most offesnively challenged players in the league...

Dude spends the entire game playing ISO ball and watching westbrook...what could he possibly know about a system...

Kobe saying this...ok...fine...he spent a lot of time in the triangle, and intricate system...shyt deron williams saying this...fine...he spent all that time in utah running that motion offense...a system...but KD...a dude who just ISO's himself into the ground...talking about a system...:mjlol:

Kevin Durant doesn't even know how to set a proper screen:mjlol:...Him and Westbrook...combined...aren't smart enough to figure out that they could have a deadly pick and roll combination themselves...:mjlol:

"aggressive" is just bullshyt rhetoric. He just made tough shots when he was contested, and because of ball movement he got easy opportunities here and there, and when the heat slacked off and didn't hustle which was virtually every game after Game 2, he took advantage because they were just playing soft. Go back and watch the replays. Horrific defense giving a guy like Leonard that excels off set shooting enough space to shoot the ball. He played excellent defense on Bron in Game 2 but Bron lit him up because those tough shots happened to go in and yet most of the coli said he was a bum and can't lock up Bron. I can't take this site's consensus opinions seriously anymore. But game 3 was just pathetic effort from Miami and Leonard hitting a lot of tough looks. The one play where the entire Miami Heat team even LeShook were ball watching instead of boxing out was basically a microcosm of the entire series right there. Leonard had a wide open lane for the putback. I knew the series was over right then and there.

Lauding Leonard for this series and saying he's MVP is like giving a trophy to one out of 15 guys in a bukkake gang bang just because he got 12 cum shots while everybody else got 7, 8, and 9. This was just a flatout rape. I know we have to give a guy the MVP trophy, but Leonard didn't do anything this series that he hasn't done all season bu bu bu bu be more aggressive according to Pop.

:mjlol: at taking that coach-speak from pop seriously though, that's the cute media narrative but in reality every single player for San Antonio just did their job to perfection. I just don't think there was one player for San Antonio that really stood out to me throughout the series where I said, "Wow, there's no way they could've won without that guy's effort." like you could say for past MVPs.

It was complete annihilation, probably the most lopsided Finals I've seen since when Brons cavs made it there.

Leonard was the difference maker when it mattered. 29 points to Lebron's 22 is a big deal

:heh: at when it mattered. Most of these games weren't close. It was utter rape for 3/5 games, and no it's not a big deal when you actually watch games instead of looking at box scores.

Leonard's impact on these series isn't as big as most people are saying it was. He just happened to be the guy who had the most cumshots in a gangbang, at the end of the day, it was still a gang bang and he's still a role player

Paul George never played Lebron as well Kawhi, nor was he athletic enough to make all the rebounds and drives Kawhi did either. And if he is athletically able to do those things, then he chooses not too, which is much worse. Like Pop said, he never called a play for Kawhi. It was just the first time he decided to be more aggressive in the offense. This is the 2nd Finals Kawhi beasted in. It's not a fluke.

George's offensive game is terrible. He just takes bad jumpers all game long. People act like anyone can play in a system. IQ is a skill too.

George from November-December is a much better player than Kawhi. The George after that was not. And Kawhi's numbers would be higher if Pop would play him more. He didn't even average 30 minutes
Put Kawahi on the pacers and he would be lance Stephenson

I don't know how cats think this guy can only score within the offense.

It's a different when you're not being game-planned as the #1 option. The Heat's priorities defensively were #1 Parker and #2 Duncan. S*** I'd even go far enough to say that Danny Green was the #3 on the Heat's watch.

One series doesn't change the fact he's the Spurs 4th option.

:camby:with bolded

If Kawhi got to play 36 minutes per game and get 17 shots a game in the reg season as Paul George did compared to the 29 minutes and 9 shots a game Kawhi got during the regular season, I guarantee Kawhi could put up 23 ppg a game as PG did during that two month stretch.

:mindblown: how people got gassed up off a hot shooting start to the year with a cakewalk ass schedule against a bunk ass Eastern Conference and proclaimed that nikka a star

Watching him play though, he doesn't strike me to have any problems breaking down the defense whether it's in iso or team defense. The ability he has to read and react to what defenses give him gives me reason to believe he can be a primary go-to option. If he were to be given that opportunity on a consistent basis, I can see him being able to do so.
