How you labeling yourself as a 4k device with no 4k player

HDR for games? What happened to that?First off, your1080p sets don't even support HDR
Second off, a big part of HDR is 4K UHD BDs, and the PSPro doesn't even have a 4K BD player
This is a win for the X1S. There's no way around it.
I see you conveniently forgot that 1080p sets don't have HDRHDR for games? What happened to that?
It's not only for movies.
Digital Foundry: the best 4K TVs for HDR gaming
Where did I say anything about 1080p?I see you conveniently forgot that 1080p sets don't have HDR
I like 4K UHD BD movies, so I think it's a fair statement. I actually watch my TV more than I game.
That's the pointWhere did I say anything about 1080p?
PS4 won't have real HDR.So Sony just announced that HDR will be coming to EVERY PS4 next week via a firmware update.
Meanwhile Microsoft touted HDR HDR HDR and that shyt was only available for the Xbox One S.
What type of shyt is that?

Read the OP again and tell me what does me not mentioning 1080P have to do with anything. You just came in on some "BUT BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR FLABBY 1080P tv!?"That's the point
I mentioned 1080p not having HDR, but you conveniently decided to ignore that
Your stan shyt is making you dumb today. The title of your thread isRead the OP again and tell me what does me not mentioning 1080P have to do with anything. You just came in on some "BUT BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR FLABBY 1080P tv!?"
when that has nothing to do with HDR hence why I don't mentioned 1080P TV.
If you have a PS4 and a 4K HDR capable TV, you can take advantage of HDR content as games will support HDR such as NBA 2k 17 for example.
You my dude but you acting up.Your stan shyt is making you dumb today. The title of your thread is
Can we talk about how Microsoft scammed Xbots into buying Xbox One S for HDR?
The PS4 is 1080p. So, yes you are talking about 1080p.![]()
hold this VR LPS4 not having a 4K blu ray player is an L no matter how you slice it.
How you want it stanleys?
Lower case? Upper Case? In cursive?
Nobody bought the One S for HDR. They wanted the 4K Blu-ray drive. It's kinda weird the new PS4 lacks that.So Sony just announced that HDR will be coming to EVERY PS4 next week via a firmware update.

This is the problem. Sometimes I feel like ignorance really is bliss. A couple talking points here and there, mention of more resolution in specific conditions and it quickly becomes a pissing match. The more things change the more they will stay the same. If you guys want something to brag about graphically console gaming simply isn't for you. More importantly, at the end of the day, the experience across all platforms is generally the same, graphics aside. So essentially it always boils down to arguments about P's and FPS' instead of just enjoying the games. You my dude but you acting up.
PS4 already supports 10 bit color.
The HDR update will allow it to utilize HDR content via games.
let me ask you this, does the Xbox One S not support HDR via 1080P or less on games?
This is exactly the same, the PS4 games that will support HDR will work just like how they work on XB1 on a 4K TV.
You can use a regular PS4 on a 4K TV and get HDR benefits. My statement stands. Calm down.![]()
