Yeah streaming has a lot of people covered. Lack of a 4K player only affects the physical media people like me. For me, it's very important.

I own a bunch of DVDs and my blu Ray collection is finally catching up to it. I'll switch to 4K blu Rays little by little. I'm guess by mid 2017 all of my movie purchases will be 4K moving forwardI own literally 1 bluray movie(Batman TTD)

I have no data caps and i stream. I dont give a shyt. I dont buy a console to play physical media anymore. Im not a freshman in collegeI would but the last time I was over you moved my stuff around.
Sony isn't dropping another console for another 5 years. You wont have the option to play a single 4K blu Ray until Sony wakes up and drops the PS5. I'll have plenty of time to build a 4K collection. Already got the 4K tv.When Scorpio drops I'll start building the collection.
fukk i look like rebuying my entire movie collection when the reality is only a small handful of movies will be worthy of buying in uhd while 98 percent of your time is spent gaming or streaming media. Im not buying a dvd player that plays games. Im buying a gaming system that just so happens to support movies, shyt i dont use.
xbots and broke people see no value in the xbox as a gaming console so they're just falling back on a damn dvd player with a limited library. Then expect people enjoying their ps4's to be dissapointed. shyts disgusting b. Im getting a visual upgrade in my gaming experience, and thats more important then a cheap thrill with a 4k dvd.
1080p is not SD compared to 4k.

I hear you. But the reality is you won't be getting the upgrade the Xbots are getting which is substantially more. So by your own reasoning you would be better suited with an XBox Scorpio which will have better graphics, and a 4K blu Ray player you will never use. And you don't have to rebuy your collection. The thing is Uncharted 4, God of War 4, TLOU 2 or w/e will be playable on PS4 Pro with better graphics and can ONLY be played on PS4/Pro while the games that Xbox will have even better graphics for can already be experienced right now on PC
I won't suffer for anytime. I'm getting both. I've never recommended getting only one console, I've just argued that they're similar overall, but that doesn't take away that they both have good exclusives.so... suffer for a year... get a Scorpio and then miss out on actual exclusives??
