Not really. I don't remember much about Reloaded or Revolutions and I didn't feel lost.

Never understood this argument. Matrix 2 had it's downs but it was still a dope watch. Matrix 3 gave the marsupial chills because on some storytelling shyt, it was a beginning to the end of the beginning if folks are deep into that shyt. Plus that final fight

I loved 2 personally. What did you think was too much in it?

The smith scene and the car/bike chase was goat IMO

Yeah I don't get this revisionist "the sequels sucked" talk. People weren't actling like that when they were out. And to me none of them were great movies, but they were enjoyable.

Yeah even during the time, folks were more of "its not messing with the first one" which is a simple duh. Beyond that, they fukked with the flick for what it was.

I think the "sequels sucks" arguments are due to the fact that the first movie set the bar so high, but imo the sequels made a bridge for bigger lore especially with the Animatrix cartoons which were wild slept on.
