Story and immersive atmosphere.

If you aren't into Game of Thrones/Skyrim/Dungeon & Dragons/Lord of the rings type worlds then it just may not be for you.
Got is one of my favorite shows, I've been playing elder scrolls since I was a kid, and I've put countless hours into shadow of Mordor

Maybe you aren't feeling the weakest aspect of the game which is the shallow combat?

Great game but there's no denying the combat system was lacking

I don't know why people hate the combat so much....its not amazing but its not complete ass either. You can dodge, sidestep, or parry all human attacks and dodge/sidestep monster attacks.

But the reason the game is one of the GOATs is the story and side quests. Even the DLC feel like a complete new games with amazing stories.

the mature and dark story. and when I say "mature" I don't mean t*ts & ass (it has that too)

everything, including the side quests, felt fleshed out

I actually liked the combat, on higher difficulties at least. I would advise not using the lock-on system

Really great and expansive world. It feels rewarding to explore. Great story, feels fleshed out and put together really well. It pretty much checks a lot of boxes that people look for in the fantasy wrpg genre.
