When anyone on the Coli says a game has shytty combat I have to see how they play certain games. Are you the guy who dies during every enemy encounter in say; Dark Souls? Do you usually parry/doge in said game type? From what I seen, a lot of players on here didn't even use the gun in Bloodborne. Witcher combat is a about exposing the weakness of an enemy, and timing your attacks/dodges. I can understand how some can feel its "clunky" in that sense, but from the average poster here, you have to take that opinion with a grain of salt.

Besides that - Story is epic, mission structure is fun and rewarding both for the player who enjoys items and lore.

Put it like this...

If I swing my sword and it hits you but your character's animation doesn't dynamically react to the hit - it takes ALL the immersion away from the game for me.

Then you either haven't played the Witcher or are being very selective. Keep in mind that every enemy in the game responds to fire (Igni), monster limbs can be chopped off (like the tongue of the grave hag). Gryphons can be stunned by Aard, Ghosts can be trapped with Yrden and human enemies can be mind controlled with Axii. So again, I take it you haven't played much Witcher, if at all.

they been added those finishing moves

If you don't like the game then you just don't like it. Combat isn't even that bad
once you know how to play you just slice through people like that video. Enviornments and Sound is amazing and you go on bounties to rip through shyt. It's pretty straightforward.
