Do you have reliable transportation?Yep that's us
If so, on your phone, download the jobstack app.
You can pretty much do little contract jobs all around Houston (Fresno, Arcola, Stafford, Southwest, etc.) and get paid dunno if it's daily or literally every week. Set up your 1090 or w2 info on the app and get direct deposited weekly, most the jobs do not drug test at all. No interview process or nothing. Those apartments on westheimer call the palms is fairly cheap too.
Combine that with Uber eats on the side.
I suggest going for a license in something as backup in case of an emergency. I.E., I have a bartending license as a break in case of emergency.
Did you apply for unemployment already? Right now with Trump in office, shıt only last 6 months but it's something as long as you didn't quit. They can't deny you.
Also, go on the nextdoor app and ask around. A lot of weird pet idolators on there but I often see people help out others with financial assistance or little jobs. For instance, I and another person once bought a homeless mother and her children a gift card to pickup from her local HEB for food on Thanksgiving.
Don't give up hope. Keep it in prayer, also see if someone in a local church will help. Forgot what church i went to when I first moved here (on Fondren) but Pastor Cherry was helping locals and really dope congregation that helps people out a lot.
See if the Houston food bank is hiring too.
