I guess this is the sequel to ‘every man should be able to bench 225‘

I work out 5 days a week. I’m brolic out this bytch :hhh: And I can assure you 10 pull ups are not easy at ALL. Pull ups—-the hard kind, with your palms facing away—— ain’t push-ups. If you haven’t specifically been doing pull ups, 10 will bust your ass. Anyone who regularly works out would know this:patrice:

10 pull-ups is no joke. Also when you have long arms it’s def even harder. The 5’5 Brehs can def knock that out no problm. Lol

At a certain point in life, i started only doing cardio and core exercises .I have no idea what muscle groups I need to fix it. It used to be so easy in my early twenties to knock out 20 of them . :mjcry:


If I wanted to at least do 5 of these shyts, is lat pull downs enough? Maybe a military press? I don't remember doing any specific exercises for it in my youth . :flabbynsick:
Assisted pull up machine until you can do 10 reps with barely any weight added maybe like 20 lbs. Then switch to a regular bar and try to do 5. If you cant do 5 then do sets if 3.

Facts.

At my best, the most I could do was like 13 or 14 and that was before COVID hit...so like 5 years ago.

Had to do them shyts like 3x/week. Feel like just doing a handful is better than most people, especially over 30 or 35 years old.

With a 45 lb plate, very easily.

Together with bench the only two exercises I've done every week for the past years, might've missed 10 weeks in 5 years. But I eat and drink like shyt :yeshrug:

Nggas talkin 50 straight or 3 sets of 20?!?! :deadrose: :heh: You are either light in weight, or you aren’t gettin your chin over the bar. Believe me, 20 w/out chin over the bar is like 12 with chin. Maybe less.

If you’re cranking out that many you’re not maximizing your effort. Like congrats Inoue but if you’d like to come to the big boy table….
