Can You Do 10 Pull-ups?

At a certain point in life, i started only doing cardio and core exercises .I have no idea what muscle groups I need to fix it. It used to be so easy in my early twenties to knock out 20 of them . :mjcry:


If I wanted to at least do 5 of these shyts, is lat pull downs enough? Maybe a military press? I don't remember doing any specific exercises for it in my youth . :flabbynsick:

I would recommend just hitting the bar and keep trying til you get one. Doesn’t matter how high you can pull yourself, just pull yourself up and keep at it

Just did 3 sets of 20 that I include in my workout. Weird when people watch like “how is that possible” :manny:

Edit: I don’t even like using crazy heavy weights unless it’s squats or bench. Also feel weights kill the body, I know I’m probably wrong though but for me, I saw the most improvement when I did calisthenics and moderate weight where I focused on form.

But I believe most people can't do 10, moving your own body weight is a different kind of strength. Especially dudes who are hoovering around everyday 200lbs and not NFL 200lbs.

I do about 15 L shaped pullups every morning before my morning jog with ease.

Yes, but only because I have residual strength from years of weight training. I'm 220 and 5'9, so I'm heavy as shyt for my height and detrained. A normal dude at my height and weight is not hitting 10 pull ups.

Trying to get back in shape though.

Thats what I was working on today. Pull ups and chin ups on the same day
