Thats to get em ripe, one of my roomies refrigerates them. I only do that after its been cut

I grew up eating them mainly because my mom loves them as well, especially the Jamaican ones. They're about twice the size but I find that they have less flavour.

I did notice that it recently became popular. I suppose because people are more obsessed with "dieting" & "healthy" eating.

These are the best ones imo. I'm not really a fan of haas avocados
