The water change was a decision made LOCALLY not by the state. Locally in a democrat ran city. Before we go there, as we most likely will, Im not suggesting that republicans are any better. Im suggesting that black people STOP PLACING THEIR TRUST in either group and place trust AMONGST EACH OTHER. How hasnt decades of both parties running things locally and nationally yet nothing changing for the black community as a whole not show the need to do this? To tie back into the thread, I dont respect any black person, especially the men, who ties themselves to either party. At best, choose what either party is saying that benefits you, but to tie yourself to one or the other as a whole? Totally stupid in this day and age when we have decades of proof that they both aim to fukk us over...
Pretty much. Depending on some other race to come in and fix our problems is laughable. To be in a losing state for possibly 8 years until 'our party' comes into power and HOPE they do something is also laughable. It's time to untether ourselves from both parties and be in a state of autonomy. Whatever you get from politicians should be butter on the bread. Never depend on the government to be your sustenance.

No most if not all black republicans are c00ns and are as despicable and evil as white supremacists. All white republicans are demonic white supremacists who literally cheer and celebrate when blacks are killed, so no thanks. Black conservatives who support republicans are c00ns and they go on fox news telling blacks to stop using welfare and pull their pants up and perpetuating other bullshyt stereotypes.

No. Fiscal conservativism is one of the hallmarks of white supremacy along with social conservatism wrapped in thinly veiled romanticization of "the good ole days". Blks who ascribe to this conveniently forget that in the "good ole days" many were starving, hunted and terrorized in a codified way that our current generation is only getting mere glimpses of today with conservative Republicans in office.
We seem to think "it can't get any worse" for blks in this country. Meanwhile, my parents grew up in eras where blks were roasted openly and getting spit on for breathing the same airspace as whites. An entire era of left-leaning civil rights laws changed all of that. Now we sitting comfy at our computers complaining about first world problems and dismissing the social rights that gave us that opportunity under Democratic policies. That's literally history.
Also I don't know where all this nonsense about welfare is coming from but it sounds like ways for bitter dudes to try and blame black economic turmoil on older impoverished blk females headed families doing what was necessary to survive when blk males were targeted by lynching, white terrorism, mass incarceration, and drugs to make blk families vulnerable. Not everything is some stupid ass gender war. Anybody who believes social welfare benefits work to the detriment of our community b/c they empower blk women to have single family homes is an idiot and/or a coward too scared to address white supremacy and his own issues with the opposite sex.
Also the demonizing of social welfare benefits needs to stop. Do ya'll even KNOW any facts or stats about welfare? How many are actually on it? Who it actually benefits? Or did u hear somebody online or know somebody "cheating the system" or "living off the system" and just rolled with that. The overwhelming majority of these benefits have kept many in dire circumstances from perishing and provide services to most people in need. I can't believe people actually swallow Reagan's "welfare queen" propaganda to justify falsely equating libertarian, steal from the poor give to the rich white men economic and social racism politics with progressivism b/c u feel like they are equally threatening. Meanwhile u too shook to address the real issue which is corporate welfare and redistribution of wealth from poor and middle class to the top white 1% in America. Any blk conversative who fails to address these aspects of white supremacy while peddling bootstrap myths and other bullshyt does NOT have our best interests at heart.
This is not saying left-leaning politics are perfect but ain't no equivalent exchange between them and what conservatism has always meant in America for blks. Miss me with that shyt.
