in high school I ran an 10.9 100 meter, which was just okay. I still run sprints and I trail run now, but haven’t actually timed a 100 meter. I honestly might be able to get to the same time or near it. But I could see something blowing out so I’d never try it :weirdo:

Nikkas in this thread running Olympic qualifying times :duck:

For reference the men’s qualifying time in the 100m for the London Olympics 2012 was 10.18 secs.

Usain Bolt has the record at 9.58 secs. :wow:

For regulars 13-14 secs is hauling. 11 secs and under is fast enough where you should be competing
Bro you should watch De La Salle (CA) high school track meets then. It would be heat of dudes running between 10 and 11’s and I remember that happening when I was in high school in 2004.

Edit: meant Cali state competition

75 yrs old and can outrun a majority of people 30 and up. Exercise is amazing.

We wasn't meant to sit in an office 8 hours a day.:francis:

slow jogging on concrete or treadmill twice a week ain't it

10.9 is not just ok.

You'll always be in the final heat with that time/potential as a high schooler. And I'm talking county/city/state meets.

But sadly I'm with you on that blowing out part. I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life but I can't run a 100/200 like my 14-22 year old self without pulling my left hammy
