Bro you should watch De La Salle (CA) high school track meets then. It would be heat of dudes running between 10 and 11’s and I remember that happening when I was in high school in 2004.

Actually Cali is a big ass state with 40 million people so that might be skewing your perception. Maryland has a lot less people so I guess naturally we won't have an abundance of sub 11 second brehs

depending where you are in the country, a 10.5 will put you in last place at a HS meet.

That's a bit much breh. Just looked up the 2022 states championship for Cali high school track and last place for the final heat was 10.65. first place was 10.3

That's an insanely impressive heat with a state of 40 million people. Texas and Florida might have a similar look.

He said a HS meet, not the State Championship.

10.9 is not just ok.

You'll always be in the final heat with that time/potential as a high schooler. And I'm talking county/city/state meets.

But sadly I'm with you on that blowing out part. I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life but I can't run a 100/200 like my 14-22 year old self without pulling my left hammy
I played pickup flag football a couple years back and for real tapped out of all high impact sports. I was 34 :mjlol:

Pretty sure what I used to watch was sectionals. De La Salle comprised half of the heat in the 2000-2006 era of cali high school sports, so maybe I’m communicating wrong. It used to be broadcasted on fox sports net west.
