Even French Canadian players didn't wanna be here a few years back because they'd have fakkit reporters combing through their trash cans and hiding in trees to dig up dirt on their personal lives.

When Canadian teams are winning, attracting free agents isn't too big of a problem, Canada is a great place to be when things are going good, but the moment the teams starts losing playing here becomes a nightmare. The Canadian media really needs to chill. Even the World Junior team(17-20 year old kids) aren't spared. Before the gold medal of this year, these kids were getting ripped to shreds by TSN for not winning a tournament that nobody outside of Canada cares about.
