It’s not as easy as early detection
Amongst all the things listed
We have to talk about the American Healthcare Culture
Many diseases go undetected for so long
People will argue, fuss and fight with doctors but some of these dikkheads don’t listen until it’s too late
I had to fight a multitude of doctors just to get a fukking colonoscopy
It’s like they take offense to you telling them something is wrong with your body
That’s where the mistrust with the public comes in, especially black people as a whole
It’s been well documented about racism in healthcare
And don’t just say get a black doctor
Unfortunately they can be just as uncaring and that truly hurts to say
So that leaves you very vulnerable and damed if you do/dont
Let’s not even start with insurance companies
Some flat out deny claims or have teams of people to circumvent helping their customers
Sit back and think about that for a minute
Muthafukkas have TEAMS TO DENY PRUDENT SERVICES PEOPLE NEED
ESPECIALLY WITH CANCER TREATMENTS
Add copays/deductibles and it’s a whole shyt show that can literally leave you broken physically/emotionally/financially
People are very shortsighted just like this article

These discussions need to address the systemic nature of the whole healthcare industry
That’s the real culprit in all of this
And this shouldn’t need explaining but a lot of you nikkas have the comprehension of an amoeba or just like to stir up shyt for attention

High Stress aka “Fight or flight” mode lowers the function of all of your vital organs and focus on survival. If you are constantly in survival mode, your health will deteriorate. This is like running your car on 10,0000 rpm’s all day every day. It will break down hella fast regardless of what gas or oil you put in it.

My pops had bowel cancer so I actively avoid dark brown spirits, strong beer and red meat. He was a heaaaaaavy smoker too. He still beat it though.
I’m lactose intolerant too, so that cuts out the dairy. But still need to do more about my weight, I get about 6-10k steps a day depending on weather in UK
