GGG was down on the scorecards and his own trainer said he looked like crap. And it wasn't intentional and he wasn't sick. He was somewhat exposed.

I'm not saying he didn't look like himself but he wasnt exposed. Brook stopped punching. How is that exposing someone?

The same reason GGG ran from Ward is the same reason Canelo needs to run from that fight. Just not naturally big enough and not skilled enough to totally outclass him.

There's a lot of great fights to be made at 154 anyway

I think Canelo was trying to draw him in to counter once he felt Smith couldn't hurt him. I also thought Canelo carried him a bit after the first knock down. He didn't even go to the body after he dropped him for the rest of the round.

and how do you know little g can take more then smith?....the dude literally got lifted off his feet by a Welterweight. and canelo will be stronger at 160. little g doesn't have that turtle defense like smith. Canelo will be hitting him flush on the chin just like brook was.

I think GGG's chin is very suspect (Curtis Stevens hurt him, Kell Brook too) but I think canelo's power comes from cumulative damage not one punch power. Guys like khan and Kirkland don't count they don't have a chin.

I don't know if Canelo would be able to dig into GGG like that, he's a lot smaller than Brook height and size wise.

Canelo is not a 160 fighter and it showed imo. GGG is too big for him. This fight really showed me why he hasn't taken that matchup yet. Smith walked through every uppercut and hard hook, it took all that body work to take him out.

Way too big of a risk fighting GGG. Oscar better protect that golden goose

If I'm Team Canelo, I would never make that fight. I think they should direct their attention towards Kell Brook. However, Brook is going to be out for awhile. Maybe lure another WW up to 155.

If Brook was the same size as GGG it would have probably gone 12. Brook was just too small and GGG punched him out. GGG looked bad because he was eating punches for 6 rounds.

and if Beefy wasn't some generic C+ fighter the fight we just saw may have turned out a lot different.

yeah I felt it couldhave been that to...I think it was the 7th rd where nelo just opened up and looked like he could've koed him at any time.

basically a bullshyt fight when u can do that ur opponent.

still think Andrade could out box him if he could take the power.

Yeah but Curtis Stevens has one punch knockout power though GGG's chin is legit. I think Canelo would need to go to the body though but will he be able to sustain that work at that rate while getting that GGG pressure is my question.
