I did as well for a while.

I bought 'Operation: Doomsday', 'The Blueprint', a bunch of Ralph Lauren shirts, some AF1's and the first Hi-Tek album when I should have been buying books with my student loan in '01. Copped the Doom one on a whim.

Got home and put it on.

As soon as that Sade sample hit, it was a certified moment for me.

Been a stan ever since.

One of my best friends got to do an impromptu photo shoot with Doom and Madlib last year - their first one in a minute. Doom apparently just popped up out of nowhere on them. I'm still jealous as fukk

And OP - keep an eye out for the Madvillain bootleg - it was a leak of a bunch of songs on the album with Doom's delivery changed up a bit.
