Can't seem to build any muscle, help me out brehs

Been at the gym :lift: the last couple months but I'm seeing no real results...I'm still scrawny. :wtf:


I'm wondering if I'm not lifting enough (though I try to lift about as much as I can, which is like 130 :yeshrug: ), not eating enough, or not lifting often enough (I usually go 2-3 times a week).

Drop some general tips on building muscle without getting :flabbynsick: .

you'll get a lot more help posting this in the gym section. anyway,

lifting heavy and eating a lot is very important. what's your workout routine looking like?

since youre still new to this you should start with bench press, squat, deadlift, power clean and standing shoulder press. these help strengthen your core while improving your strength. throw in some ab, dips and pull ups to finish your workout if you can.

i have a site with a guide ill post for you once i get it.

You need to eat more food. You'll only get bigger if you have a caloric surplus.

only do cardio twice a week

get in 125-200 protein grams a day

get enough sleep

push yourself to the limit

change your workout routine every time you go to the gym

reps, weight, time resting between sets etc.

bam you got it

either Starting Strength or StrongLifts.

compound lifts, increase the weight progressively each session, eat enough, get enough protein, try to get enough quality sleep. you'll gain muscle.

You'll probably start low first.

If you're a skinny nicca like me (or I was....180 pounds now, breh:smugfavre:) you'll probably start off eating around 2500-3000 a day. I had to force myself to eat.

Try eating 6-8 small meals a day. Pack a few lean turkey sandwiches (whole wheat bread) with you for snacks. Eat them shyts every 3 hours, or so. When you dont feel like cooking, make some oatmeal. Nicca, I LIVE off oatmeal now. lol


You'll get your body in the habit of eating after a while. After that, it's all about CONSISTENCY.


Do it for 6 months, bet you see some growth.

These guys are leading you in the right direction...also add in more weight less reps. Cardio IS your friend, but not best friend for gaining mass. Protien after the workout is also key...

word, im lookin up how to get bigger and all I hear about is eat a lot
I cant eat that many calories unless i dont do shyt but smoke all day or if im eating mcdonalds
