Yup. I hate them. I had a 10k card with them. Their CLI was only 2k after 2 years. Chase came and doubled that. I called Chase and they even offered me a business card with better perks and rewards. Capone has the shyttiest rewards

Should’ve left it as a target. They haven’t done shyt with building that area because of the call center. it’s been the same that it always has been except there’s no target around lol. They should’ve made it a Pete’s or Mariano’s. I hope that’s what they do if it shuts down now, but I doubt that it will.
This is big news. This is up there with Microsoft buying Activision. I’m not fan of Capital One they seem predatory. I had one card with them that closed a while ago. I got two discover cards probably gonna closed them after this news.

the discover is a better employer in the neighborhood as their jobs are higher paying than the ones target or even mariano's would offer. as a business overall, it doesn't benefit me cuz I don't work there obviously.
I don’t see how the Feds allow this unless one of them is in big trouble

Were they employing Chatham residents though? Honest question because I don’t know. The people I know in the area, none of them or people they knew worked there. So to me it just seemed like a place people who didn’t live there drove to work.
Most live in the south suburbs and northwest Indiana and commute in on 80 and 94.
