I dunno but I really like Captain Marvel. She's one of my favs in Marvel as of late and I think if done right she could really legitimize female superheroes for movie going audiences.

When did i say anything about wanting a body builder? Do you think they would have sought after Brie Larson if she hadn't won the Oscar? of course not and there lies the problem. This is the type of nonsense that got Halle Berry cast as Storm.


You want a female action superhero to be taken seriously you get someone like Charlize Theron or Emily Brunt. Otherwise it just looks corny.

Oh she's the bad guy in GoTG Vol. 2. Don't think she is well known enough to star in Captain Marvel tho. But you're right, she looks way better for the role over Larson. Also I think they have to cast an American or someone who can definitely do an American accent, this girl is French.
