This is just me pulling theories out of my ass but what if Captain Marvel's origin is due to time travel fukkery in "Infinity War"? Because the movie takes place in the 90's but she obviously hasn't appeared in any MCU movie prior to this....nor has she even been mentioned.

It's possible this theory has already been debunked but I haven't been keeping up on info from this movie so
