Trust, I want that 6th gen :russ:

The performance stock for stock aint even close

But the 5th is cheaper. Plus, the ls3 is easier to modify from what I've read and heard

That mf heavy, but for a first performance car, will be a step up from any of the cars I've driven so far

Can always get something faster later
I understand. In that case atleast make sure it’s oldman owned when you buy one, they take care of vehicles better

Since the camaro's gonna go outta production soon, what yall think the prices gonna be like on the used market afterwards?

Appreciation or depreciation? Or for things to stay about the same?

Wish I could cop a new one this year, but it'll be best for me to go used probably next year at the earliest.

I was a kid the last time the camaro went out of production, so for yall older brehs, how'd prices look back then?

Not sure what to expect with this looking like the last V8 camaro generation, and the s650 mustang being the only V8 muscle car for the time being

Chevy said they want to go all electric in the future, but im holding out for a miracle that theyll do one more generation of V8 camaro's :lupe:

If it ain’t a ZL1 don’t fukk with it

The Truth
I'm thinking the 5th gen seems like the best option for me

Far as reliability, how do they hold up close to or after 100k miles?

Cause I want a better idea of maintenence costs + possible repairs. Specifically for the V8. V6 seems to have more problems

Also, can anybody give me the pros and cons of the L99 vs the LS3? :jbhmm:

I know I'd need to do a DoD delete if I get the auto, but do yall think that's worth it over getting the manual from the jump?

Never drove manual, but my dad can teach me. Im in the country so there's plenty of places to practice too. But do y'all think a 5th gen camaro would be too much to handle for a first manual?
I copped a 6th gen

It’s customizable too…. Was going to keep it now I’m not sure

Might trade both whips in for a EV

Fassho. Cause that's my biggest worry. Screwing up and buying something that's been clapped out :francis:

But imma take my time and look for the best offer. If I can't find one in good enough shape for the low, imma try for a c5 instead

It's a clean ass c6 for sale that I see everyday on my way to work. I wouldn't be able to justify spending that much on a car though. Cause id be happy at first then be like, "Damn, i couldve spent that on my master's. Wtf im thinking :snoop:"

Don't know the price, but I'm sure he gotta at minimum be wanting 22k cash :francis:

But just like you said, older guy selling. So you know he barely drove it and took care

I would suggest getting another trim if anyone actually plans to drive it. I drove a business partners and you can literally feel every little bump in the road. I was backing up slowly and went over those plastic lane dot and thought I backed in to something. Nope just the stiff ass suspension. Real raw car tho. You can have some fun on the track with that thing.

Chevy itself acknowledged how poor they perform!
Sales are at an all time low because of how shytty they kept getting!

:childplease:
Shytty how? Outside the visibility, it didn't have any problems the mustang and challenger didn't have as well.

Which weren't really that major

I think sales dipped cause

1. It's not a mustang AKA the most popular sports car

2. Horsepower creep (in the eyes of the consumer)

Chevy made a really great drivers car, but that doesn't get the masses hype like 1000+ horsepower dodges

If they had made a Z28 with the c8 engine and at least 800 hp, they probably could've brought some much needed hype to the nameplate

Cause a lot of people are dumb. They think 350-500 horsepower is slow :skip:

It's a generation of kids that think every car is supposed to come 900 hp from the factory

For better or for worse, numbers get people excited
