He said he wasn't promise nothing from Urban. Thing is nobody fails to realize is that Braxton and JT will still be rehabbing during spring ball, so Cardale will get all the 1st team snaps. Furthermore Braxton 's shoulder was worse than people thought and its not even a sure thing if he will be able to effectively throw again or play QB. I think Cardale is confident he can beat JT out. He was ahead of JT up until the week Braxton got hurt. JT finally beat him out because he prepared harder. Stayed in the film room more than Cardale. Since Cardale took over he has changed his work ethic. I think people are kidding themselves if they don 't think Cardale will be starting week 1. Either way all 3 know the situation and all could choose to stay or leave. JT n Cardale both are staying and competing. Braxton so far is staying. As a fan, going into week 1 last season, qb was our main concern with Braxton hurt. This coming season whoever is starting will likely be a Heisman candidate.
Yep, tom Herman has said that cardales best was better than JT's he just didn't put in the work that JT did.
And yeah people are failing to realize that Braxton might be done at the QB position.
Neither Braxton or JT will be ready for spring ball.

So if he's second string at the beginning of the season, he transfers to another school, loses a year of eligibility, and only has one more year to play? He's a redshirt freshman, so he can't redshirt his transfer year. He goes to summer training camp and plays early in the season, he'd go through his sophomore season. He transfers, he loses his junior season. Cardale is a redshirt sophomore, and would likely play one more season. If JT doesn't play next season, he has two more seasons to play at OSU. Why would he transfer and only play one season somewhere else instead of staying at OSU and playing two more seasons?
