MENTALITY is probably most important thing as a QB period, especially in the league. If there is any doubt in your ability to compete at the highest level DO NOT GO, YOU WILL FAIL. Logan had nothing close to the 3 games against that level of comp that Cardale had ever in college.

I can't remember if he ever had ONE great game against ELITE level comp at Vtech.

Thomas' best college A/YA record is 6.6 yards whereas Jones' is an absurd 9.9, another accomplishment Thomas never had. Thomas never quite lived up to his type and his play towards the end was late round/UDFA quality. Thomas never put up prototypical #1 QB production, while Jones' has, so bringing the former up in comparison to Jones is just logically incongruent.

D1 teams are not all made equal. The difference in player quality between the top and middling teams can be vast. While I agree with @BelowTheMasonDixon 's general sentiment that Jones' hasn't played enough games to fully judge his NFL potential, I disagree that Jones and Thomas are comparable, as @Goat poster implies. Jones' has already done more to solidify his status as a first rounder than Thomas ever did. Thomas isn't even in the same conversation. He never put up the number Jones' did.
