I knew this was gonna go down the minute I saw a clip from a couple of months ago with Cardi B and Offset. The crazy shyt is these artists are made to be so massive but they have weird quirks that don't get out to the fan bases. Cardi B is a hard-core fan of a Turkish TV show about the Ottoman Empire and it sounds weird but it is what it is.He publicly humiliated her with his unfaithfulness several times. I don’t like either one of them but I knew coli would find dumbass reasons to blame her.
She was on an IG Live talking about wanting to go to Turkey while Offset was on with her and she was going on and on about Turkish food, architecture, etc. , this was almost the same level that Megan The Stallion was on when she was talking about anime in an interview then had to switch back to "Hot Girl" mode when ther nerdiness came out. Famous U.S. rapper Cardi B, who has been raving about the globally-acclaimed Turkish dramas Magnificent Century (Muhteşem Yüzyıl) and Kosem Sultan, wants to come to Turkey as soon as possible due to her obsession with the Ottoman Empire.
The star, who has often taken to social media to discuss Turkish TV series, confessed her desire during a live broadcast on Instagram with her husband Offset and expressed her interest in Ottoman history.
“I want to go to Turkey because I am very influenced by the Ottoman Empire. But someone (referring to her husband Offset) doesn't want to fly for 16 hours! I can withstand 16 hours of flying, but I can also understand Offset. I will go there and visit a museum,” she said.
“The Ottoman Empire impresses me very much and I don't know when but I want to go there somehow,” she added.
The breakout of the mega-hit Magnificent Century led to a boost of Arab tourists in Turkey with the show being watched by more than 500 million viewers worldwide.
It has also gone down in history as the first TV series bought by Japan. Approximately 150 Turkish TV series have been sold to over 100 countries, including Algeria, Morocco and Bulgaria, since 2002.
Entertaining more than 700 million audience from Europe, Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and the U.S. so far, Turkey is expected to earn $1 billion in TV series exports by 2023.
